Growing Beans

Now the weather is warming up it's time to get sowing. Today we planted some broad bean seeds. 

We had some quite big, deep, pots so we put two bean seeds in each pot. First we filled the pot with compost and made two holes with our fingers. 

Then we put the bean seeds in the holes….

…and covered up the beans with the compost. We all had a go, and then made labels for the pots so we knew what we had planted in them. 

We watered the pots and put them outside in the sunshine to wait for them to grow.
