For the third time we’re opening our primary school vegetable garden on the first day of the Chelsea Fringe but this year Lauriston School Garden is aiming for something big. We’ve based our art, craft and planting workshops around the theme of gigantism.
You’ll be invited to plant a giant sunflower seed, help build a hazel bed to grow our giant pumpkins, take part in a print workshop or contribute your own leaf or flower to our giant art work. You can eat like a giant with tiny food or drink a super food green smoothie to get giant muscles.
For those looking for peace and quiet you can stroll around our school orchard (complete with chickens) drink tea, eat cakes and savouries. Pimms will also be on offer.
We’ll be selling banana plants, tomato seedlings and more so if you’re looking for giant fun get down to Lauriston school (near Victoria Park on the 425 and 277 bus route). Suitable for children and the young at heart.
